Yep, the Sunbeam Restful Quilted Water Resistant Heated Mattress Pad does come with dual controls. That's super handy for couples who have their own ideas about the perfect sleeping temperature.

Our research shows that if you get the Queen size or larger, each side of the bed gets its own controller. That way, you can have it snug and warm on your side, while your partner keeps it cooler on theirs—or the other way around.

When you set it up, you'll connect the controllers to the mattress pad with a plastic connector and then plug it into an outlet. The manufacturer suggests keeping this connector near the head of the bed, which is smart because you can hide the wiring behind a headboard or pillows. It also keeps the controllers easy to reach—no fumbling in the dark.

For safety, the manufacturer advises against using extension cords or power strips with surge protectors. Plugging it directly into a wall outlet is the way to go. If your outlet isn't in the best spot, you might need to get creative to avoid tangled or overstretched cords.

Speaking of safety, this pad offers a 12-hour auto-shutoff feature. Just a heads-up: some folks have noticed that the controller stays lit even after it shuts off automatically, so you might want to double-check and turn it off manually.

And don't forget, make sure the pad is laid flat on the bed without any bunching. This helps prevent overheating and ensures even heat distribution.

All in all, this Sunbeam mattress pad with dual controls is a thoughtfully designed option for shared beds, offering comfy and personalized warmth along with essential safety features.
