So, if you're curious about whether you can feel the wires in the Sunbeam heated mattress pad, here's what we've found. Generally, people seem pretty happy with the warmth it provides. It comes with 12 heat settings and a dual-zone control system, which means you can set different temperatures for each side of the bed—handy if you and your partner have different preferences.
Now, about those wires. Most people don't seem to be bothered by them, but it's true that they aren't completely unobtrusive. You might feel them a bit, but they're not deal-breakers for most.
One thing to note is that some folks have said the heat doesn't quite extend to the edges or the very bottom of the pad. So if you're tall and your feet are right at the end, you might feel a little chillier there.
The manufacturer doesn't talk much about specific heating zones, which suggests the heat is pretty evenly spread in the central parts. If cold feet are an issue, maybe try repositioning the pad or bringing in a trusty extra blanket.
In the end, it's a solid option if general warmth is what you're after, just keep those couple of things in mind about wire feel and heat distribution.
Hope that helps!
