Hey! So, about the Metabo HPT NV45AB2 Roofing Nailer—it's built to handle nail sizes from 7/8" to 1-3/4", so it's pretty flexible with different roofing jobs.
But, heads up, according to our research, it doesn't come with nails. You'd have to grab those separately.
Now, while the manufacturer says it handles 1-3/4" nails, some folks have run into issues using these bigger sizes. Even though the specs say they're good to go, we've found that there can be some hiccups, particularly with the continuous loading of these larger nails.
This could be a matter of getting used to the tool or, in some rare cases, dealing with a defective unit.
To keep things running smoothly, it's essential to use nails that are spot-on with what the gun is meant for—and don't skip on regular maintenance like keeping the nailer well-oiled. This can make a huge difference.
If you're still hitting a wall, check out different brands of nails. Some might just work better with this nailer.
Depending on the situation, maybe reaching out to Metabo HPT’s customer service could help iron out these kinks.
And just a reminder—things like air pressure settings, the size of the nails, and even how the tool's calibrated can impact performance.
So, some adjustments here and there could make a world of difference.
Bottom line: This nailer doesn’t come with nails, but with the right setup and maintenance, it should handle your roofing tasks without a hitch.
