So, about the iPower 2-Pack Hanging Vertical Wall Planter and whether it dries out quickly—it seems to depend on a couple of things. The manufacturer mentions that there's a waterproof layer on the back and bottom of the planters. This is supposed to keep the water where it needs to be, with the plants, and stop it from soaking whatever you've hung it on.
When we looked into it more, we found mixed reviews. Some folks are pretty happy with how it holds moisture. They like not having to water all the time and mention that the design keeps the water in until the soil's nicely moist—apparently, it only drains once the soil is saturated enough.
But then there are a few others who point out that because the fabric is breathable, it might lead to quicker drying, especially if you're in a hot or dry climate. This would mean you'd have to water more frequently.
In the end, it seems like how well the planter keeps moisture really depends on the climate where you live and how often you’re watering it. If you're somewhere really warm or dry, you might need to check on the plants a bit more often.
Otherwise, it might help cut down on watering and keep things simple for your vertical garden setup.
