The Hethya 36 Egg Incubator does have an automatic egg-turning feature that's designed to help with hatching by rotating the eggs every 90 minutes. This should ideally prevent the eggshells from sticking to the trays.
However, based on our research, not everyone finds this feature to work as intended. Some folks have noticed that the rollers can slip, meaning the eggs don't always get turned properly. So, you might need to step in and turn them yourself sometimes, which isn't quite hassle-free.
Regarding the humidity and temperature consistency, it's a bit hit or miss. The manufacturer talks up its precise temperature control for fast heating and even distribution, but we've found that some people experience trouble keeping the temperature and humidity levels stable.
There are reports of needing to use extra tools for calibration or even adding external coverings to get the conditions just right. If you're hoping for a set-and-forget kind of device, this might be something to think about.
The incubator also has a built-in candling light for monitoring egg development, but some people say it's not as bright as they expected. This could make it harder to see how the eggs are doing.
So, while the incubator comes with features like automatic egg turning and temperature control, how well these work seems to vary. If you're looking for something super reliable and easy to use, you might want to weigh these aspects carefully or check out other options that could offer more consistent performance.
In the end, it depends on what you need for a smooth hatching process.
