Yep, the Prang Oval Pan Watercolor Paint Set in the 8-count does come with a brush. According to how the manufacturer describes it, the set is designed for educational use and features semi-moist watercolors.
They're easy to get going with just a little water—ideal for students and art enthusiasts who love vibrant colors and easy blending.
From our research, folks generally love the colors and how easily they blend. But it's worth noting that using too much paint can leave a slightly dull or sticky finish. To get the best outcome, make sure to use enough water—this helps in getting those bright, smooth results.
As for safety, Prang watercolors are non-toxic, so they're safe for the kids to use. Just a heads-up, though: while the set does include a brush, some have found the brush might not always be the best quality. It can sometimes arrive splayed or, every now and then, even missing.
It's a good idea to double-check the package when it arrives. For detailed or professional projects, you might want to have a different brush on standby.
So, you can count on a brush being included with the set, but for precision work, a trusty backup brush could be handy.
