If you're looking to get wheel locks for your 2023 Toyota Highlander Hybrid, you'll want to check if the McGard 24157 Chrome Cone Seat Wheel Locks match your vehicle's specs. They have an M12x1.5 thread size and a 60-degree tapered cone seat—pretty common sizing for lots of cars.
But here's the thing: even though these locks are made to fit a bunch of models, they might not match up with the OEM locks that come standard with your car. Plus, if you've got other McGard locks, keep in mind that keys aren't interchangeable between sets.
Now, about the specific fit for the 2023 Highlander Hybrid, it gets a bit tricky. Our research shows some people have had issues with installing these locks on this particular model—you might need locks with washers instead.
On the other hand, vehicles like the Mazda CX-5 and Hyundai Palisade seem to work well with them, pointing to some differences depending on the car.
A quick tip: the 'Amazon Confirmed Fit' tool can help, but it may not always get it right—especially for specific Honda and Toyota models. It's probably a good idea to check your car's manual or consult with an automotive pro to see if the McGard 24157 will work for your Highlander.
If they don't, you might want to chat with McGard for more details or look into other lock sets that could be a better fit for your vehicle.
In a nutshell, these wheel locks could be a great fit for many cars, but making sure they're right for your specific model is key to keeping your wheels safe.
