The ACM5010 AllClear Lantern Edition Mosquito Mister by Terminix uses a natural lemongrass-based formula, so it's safe around family and pets, plus eco-friendly. It's supposed to repel up to 95% of mosquitoes for about 10 hours per refill, at least according to the manufacturer. This makes it a handy option for things like camping or having picnics.
But, based on our research, people have mixed feelings about it. Many like the quiet operation and the device's look, but there are some quirks. One issue is that sometimes the automatic shut-off doesn't work properly, so you might have to disconnect the canister manually.
The bigger concern, though, is with getting refills. Lots of folks mention that finding refill canisters can be tough, which is a real bummer if you’re planning to use the mister long-term. If you run out and can't get more, it turns into just a nice-looking lantern.
So, if you're thinking about getting this mosquito mister, double-check on the refill availability first. That way, you won't be caught without repellent when you need it. A little research upfront might prevent some hassle later on!
