The Nanit Pro is a cool piece of tech a lot of parents appreciate, especially for its 'Breathing Motion Monitoring'. This feature lets you keep an eye on your baby's breathing without any sensors stuck on them. Instead, it uses a special Breathing Band, and the camera works with it to watch for any unusual breathing patterns.
But here's the thing—this feature, along with others, really needs WiFi to work its magic. The camera sends notifications through its app, so if your WiFi goes down, you might not get the updates you need. It's best to have a good WiFi setup to avoid missing any alerts.
While the Nanit Pro can do some things without WiFi, many of its key features, like the alerts and app access, rely on a stable connection.
So, if you want to use everything it offers, a solid WiFi connection is pretty important.
