So, about the comfort of the SHOKZ OpenRun Pro headphones for long periods, our research suggests they're generally pretty comfy, especially if you like lightweight gear and the whole bone conduction tech.
The manufacturer says these headphones sit lightly on your cheekbones, leaving your ears free, which some people really appreciate since it avoids the annoyance of traditional earbuds.
From what we've found, a lot of people think they're great for things like running, cycling, or just cruising around town. They tend to stay put and let in ambient sounds, which adds a bit of safety when you're outside. Weighing about 29 grams, they're often praised for not putting too much pressure on your head or ears even if you're wearing them for a long stretch.
That said, comfort can be pretty subjective. A few folks in our research mentioned that while they're generally comfortable, not everyone will find them perfect, especially if you have specific fit needs or are sensitive to cheekbone pressure. Plus, since they sit outside your ears, they're not really meant for super noisy places where you'd want full noise isolation.
All in all, the SHOKZ OpenRun Pro headphones are crafted for extended wear, but it really depends on how you plan to use them. If you want something that keeps you aware of your surroundings and feels almost weightless after a while, they could be a solid option.
Just remember, if you’re sensitive to bone conduction or need noise-blocking headphones, these might not hit the mark. Still, they offer handy features like a quick charge and decent battery life, which are a plus for long listening sessions on the go.
