The Hulless 0.5 Ounce Aluminum Tin Jars, which come in a pack of 20, are designed with a screw-top lid that's supposed to keep leaks at bay—that's what the manufacturer says, at least. They sport a nice rose gold color and are small enough to easily carry around or organize at home (1.62 inches in diameter and 0.67 inches in height).
Now, while they do look pretty and seem quite functional, especially for storing things like lip balms or creams, there are some mixed feelings about their condition when they arrive. Our research shows that while a lot of people find them just right, with lids that stay nice and tight, there have been several cases where folks received tins that were dented or damaged—sometimes more than half of them.
It seems like this might be related to how they're packaged and handled during shipping. Not everyone runs into this issue, but it pops up in enough reports to be worth mentioning.
They're generally sturdy enough for gentle uses, so they're good for lighter stuff as long as you’re not putting them through any rough treatment.
If you end up with dented tins, it might be a good idea to reach out to the seller. It looks like the manufacturer is interested in improving their product and might offer replacements if you let them know.
All in all, these tins are pretty useful for DIY projects and cosmetic storage, blending good looks with practicality. Just be sure to check them over when your order shows up to make sure everything's in good shape.
