The Coopay 2 Pieces Butterflies Nets are advertised as versatile, useful for activities like capturing bugs and small fish. But from what we've gathered, the feedback on their actual use, especially for catching butterflies, seems mixed.
The nets are described as having a 17.5-inch rod and a 7.5-inch net, which might make them more suited to catching small aquatic creatures rather than being perfect for butterflies—even though they're labeled as butterfly nets. Traditional butterfly nets usually have bigger and lighter meshes that are safer for butterflies. Some folks have mentioned that while they're advertised for butterflies, the Coopay's sturdier build seems to work better for water use.
Durability is another point to consider. Some people noted the handles breaking or the net coming off the rod, though others suggested they are fine for gentler activities, like letting kids play with them at the beach.
So, if you’re looking to catch butterflies, you might want to check out nets specifically designed for that task. They usually have designs that are more butterfly-friendly, like lighter materials and bigger meshes.
If your main goal is to catch butterflies, you might want to look at other specialized options, like the Telescopic Butterfly Net, which is designed for insects and might serve you better.
All in all, while Coopay nets have their uses, they might not be the best for serious butterfly catching. It really depends on what you plan to use them for, so just keep your expectations in mind when deciding.
