Your phone decides which watch you should buy. The Apple Watch doesn't work with Android. The Galaxy Watch 7 doesn't work with iPhones.
If You Use an iPhone
Get the Apple Watch Series 11. There's no real alternative for a full smartwatch experience.
Why Apple Watch wins for iPhone users:
- Best app ecosystem of any smartwatch
- Passive health alerts (hypertension, Sleep Score) work automatically
- Fall detection and crash detection have saved lives
- First Apple Watch with 5G cellular
- Seamless integration with iPhone, iPad, Mac, and AirPods
If You Use Android
Get the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7, especially if you use a Samsung phone.
Why Galaxy Watch 7 wins for Android users:
- $100+ cheaper than comparable Apple Watch
- Body composition tracking (unique feature)
- FDA-cleared sleep apnea detection
- Slightly longer battery life
- Circular design looks like a traditional watch
Note: With non-Samsung Android phones (Pixel, OnePlus), some features are limited but core functionality works well.
