YAOHUOO Bookshelf with Drawers
Before swiping right on this tantalizing piece of decor, remember it's a mixed bag of easy assembly and possible DIY fixes, with a side of 'might look better online.' If you're not up for playing the furniture equivalent of a dating game, maybe seek a product that's more straight up with its qualities.
Pros
- •The product is well-built and sturdy, ready to survive whatever you throw on it or at it.
- •Hello gorgeous! Its industrial and rustic appearance means it'll probably outstyle you.
- •Roomy enough to house your hoard of board games, Lego treasures, and heavier than your ex's attitude textbooks and binders.
- •Comes with drawers, because who doesn't love a little hidey-hole for their secrets?
- •The top shelves are like a stage for your knick-knacks to perform on – ample space for display.
- •Easy to assemble, so you won't need to summon your entire ancestral lineage for help.
- •Attractive appearance – it's like that one piece of furniture that actually got its life together.
- •Has the most shelving space in its class – call it the shelf-help guru.
- •Suitable for an office room, because your productivity deserves a pretty backdrop.
- •Bottom part is a bookworm's dream, complete with multiple bars for organizing or separating your literary loves.
Cons
- •Missing parts drama – because who doesn't love a good scavenger hunt for missing wood piece (part #12)?
- •Some assembly required, along with a pinch of patience and a sprinkle of DIY skills for when the holes don't match up.
- •Made of cheap materials – it's the fast fashion of furniture.
- •Tiroirs (that's drawers for the uninitiated) might just test your patience, not very smooth on the pull.
- •Not living up to its online dating profile – looks high-quality online, but in-person it's a catfish.
- •Visible screw heads protruding like unsolicited opinions.
- •The illusion of solid metal sides is just that, an illusion. Surprise! It's actually two pieces pretending to be one.
- •May cause buyers' remorse – not recommended for purchase unless you enjoy a bit of self-inflicted pain.
- •Laminated wood that's as straight as a politician's promise.
- •Time-consuming assembly might have you questioning your life choices.
