Cons
- •The system felt heavily used, more like second-hand rather than renewed or refurbished
- •Power supply was damaged and cracked, needing a replacement (be aware of potential quality issues)
- •The loud fan in the power supply raises concerns over overheating or fire risk
- •Family Settings with passcode lock can prevent game access and are not easily bypassed or reset
- •The disc tray is non-functional and must be manually ejected with a paper clip, which is inconvenient
- •No batteries included for the controller, requiring an extra purchase
- •Some reviews mention that the overall condition was disappointing despite arriving as described
- •Buying from Amazon Renewed may not always guarantee a better condition than cheaper alternatives like Facebook Marketplace
Bottom Line
This Xbox 360 S 250GB System (Renewed) offers solid performance and an attractive design, making it a good choice if you’re okay with potentially minor cosmetic issues or inconveniences like the disc tray. However, caution is advised regarding the power supply condition and overall used feel. For a more reliable or like-new experience, consider new or certified refurbished options, or explore newer models or brands for potentially fewer issues.
