Pros
- •Made of durable stainless steel, ensuring long-lasting use and easy cleaning.
- •Large, XL size comfortably fits big cats or multiple cats, offering plenty of space.
- •High sides and raised cover effectively prevent litter kick-out and outside messes.
- •Stainless steel material doesn't trap odors like plastic, keeping the area more hygienic and odor-free.
- •Smooth edges and rounded corners make scooping easier and safer for your cats.
- •Designed with a removable lid and front grate, simplifying cleaning and litter management.
- •Included scoop is convenient, especially when securely fastened to the box for quick access.
- •Minimal litter tracking due to design features like a stepped entrance and high sides.
- •Heavy and sturdy construction reduces tipping and enhances stability during use.
- •Significantly reduces odors, making it a more hygienic and fresh environment for both pets and owners.
Cons
- •The included scoop is flimsy and can bend under heavy waste, so a sturdier one might be needed.
- •The large size may be unnecessary for smaller cats or single-cat households, taking up extra space.
- •The rough texture of the supplied mat can be harsh on paws; softer alternatives are recommended.
- •Scraping metal with the scoop may produce loud screeching sounds that could startle cats or owners.
- •Lacks a built-in sifting pan, meaning additional tools are required if you prefer sifted litter.
- •Over-sized design could be overkill for those with limited space or smaller cats.
- •The stainless steel, while durable, can feel cold or uninviting compared to plastic options, which might affect some cats' acceptance.
- •Proper cleaning involving regular disinfecting is necessary to maintain odor control; stainless steel is not entirely maintenance-free.
Bottom Line
The WoofiGo Enclosed Stainless Steel Cat Litter Box with Lid is an excellent choice if you need a robust, hygienic, and odor-resistant solution for big or multiple cats. Its heavy-duty construction and spacious design make it a long-term investment, ideal for owners prioritizing cleanliness and durability. However, if you're space-constrained or prefer a quieter, softer material, you might want to explore alternatives like the plastic or composite models that are easier on paws and sound levels.
