- •Offers an excellent grip with a texture that feels great to throw, making it enjoyable for casual play.
- •Comes pre-pumped and ready to use right out of the box—no fuss needed.
- •The grip holds strong and reliable even after multiple uses, enhancing play experience.
- •Perfect size for kids and casual players, encouraging physical activity and skill development.
- •Versatile and suitable for both boys and girls, great for yard training or beginner practice.
- •Lightweight and easy to handle, which is ideal for young children or those still developing throwing skills.
- •Simple and effective design that appeals to football fans and young players alike.
Cons
- •The size and shape differ slightly from official NFL footballs, making it less ideal for throwing perfect spirals or official-style practice.
- •Made of very soft rubber, which may impact durability, especially if used frequently or in rough conditions.
- •Some users reported one or more balls failing quickly, indicating inconsistent quality.
- •The exterior is susceptible to damage from sharp objects like goat heads, potentially causing leaks.
- •Best suited for safe, debris-free areas to maintain longevity and air retention.
- •Smaller size resembles more of a junior ball rather than a true official NFL dimension, which might disappoint those wanting exact replication.
Bottom Line
The Wilson NFL Super Grip Official Football is a nice option for casual play, especially with kids or beginners who benefit from the excellent grip and lightweight feel. However, it falls short as a true official-sized football both in dimensions and durability, so don’t expect pro-level performance or long-lasting toughness if you plan to use it heavily. If you want a football closer to authentic NFL specs or more durable for serious practice, you might want to explore other Wilson models or professionally rated balls.
