Bottom Line
The Western Digital 4TB My Passport Ultra Silver offers reliable, portable storage with solid performance and a sleek design, making it a good choice for most users seeking dependable external storage. However, potential reliability issues reported in previous WD models mean you should consider regular backups and monitoring. For faster transfer speeds or more robust software support, exploring SSD options or brands with a focus on reliability might be worthwhile.
