Bottom Line
The TP-Link Archer C54 is a solid budget-friendly Wi-Fi router that delivers strong, reliable coverage with easy setup and good value. It works great for typical home or small business needs and notably outshines many ISP-provided routers in both range and speed. However, don’t expect blazing top-tier performance or flawless reliability—it may occasionally require a reset and won’t hit the highest speeds advertised. For basic and consistent home use, this router is a smart pick without breaking the bank. If you need a router with more stable long-term connectivity or gigabit-level speeds, consider looking at higher-end models.
