Used & Refurbished

- •The TOTO Drake offers powerful, commercial-grade flushing with its TORNADO FLUSH system, effectively clearing solid waste and reducing the need for frequent cleaning.
- •The CEFIONTECT glaze keeps the bowl exceptionally smooth, minimizing waste adhesion and making cleaning a breeze.
- •Universal Height design enhances comfort for a wide range of users, providing a better seating and standing experience compared to standard height models.
- •The toilet’s elongated bowl pairs perfectly with most Toto bidets and adds extra comfort overall.
- •Installation is straightforward, especially as a two-piece unit which is easier to handle and fits standard 11.5" rough-in plumbing.
- •The narrow tank design allows the toilet to sit closer to the wall by about 3 inches compared to typical 12" rough-ins, saving bathroom space.
- •Left-hand chrome trip lever and ADA compliance increase usability and accessibility.
- •Bolt covers and rimless design reduce hard-to-clean crevices, helping maintain hygiene with less effort.
- •The toilet performs quietly relative to older pressure-assisted models, especially on flush noise.
Cons
- •The overall dimensions are slightly longer than specified (about 1/4" longer), causing the tank or bowl to sometimes touch the wall and requiring possible lid modifications or adjustments during installation.
- •The toilet seat is not included and some users find it less comfortable compared to seats from other brands, meaning you’ll need to budget separately for a quality seat.
- •Fill valve noise can occasionally be noticeable, detracting from the otherwise quiet operation.
- •While installation is manageable, additional purchase of wax ring, mounting bolts, water supply lines, and toilet seat is required, which can add to overall setup complexity.
- •Some users found the seat less cushioned or comfortable than prior toilets they owned, so consider upgrading the seat for extra comfort.
Bottom Line
The TOTO Drake Two-Piece Elongated 1.6 GPF Universal Height Toilet is a solid choice if you want a reliable, powerful flush with reduced cleaning hassles thanks to TOTO’s TORNADO FLUSH and CEFIONTECT glaze. Its universal height and narrow tank design offer comfort and space savings, making it a smart upgrade for most bathrooms. Just keep in mind the slight size quirks that may affect tight bathroom layouts and that you’ll need to buy a separate toilet seat. If seat comfort is a top priority, consider pairing it with a premium seat or checking alternative models with included or higher-rated seats.
