Pros
- •Well made with sturdy, durable construction that withstands heavy impacts and harsh weather conditions.
- •Compatible with standard garbage truck side lifts, featuring a strong metal bar and hook designed for heavy lifting and reliability.
- •Easy to handle and maneuver, even when full, thanks to large, high-quality wheels.
- •Ideal 32-gallon size for manageable use, especially for smaller households or limited driveway space.
- •Offers great value and affordability compared to similar heavy-duty trash cans.
- •Constructed from durable Blackstone plastic that feels tough and built to last for many years.
- •Convenient alternative to city rental cans, providing independence and potential cost savings.
- •Design updates have modernized the lid while retaining excellent overall quality.
Cons
- •Minor redesign of the lid removed the upper lip, making it somewhat less clean and easier to open compared to previous models.
- •Some customers found the seller to be unresponsive and unreliable, causing frustration unrelated to product quality.
- •For larger households or heavier loads, the 32-gallon size may feel restrictive; a larger size like 64 gallons might be better.
Bottom Line
The Toter 025532-R1209 offers a rugged, reliable, and affordable trash can built to handle heavy use and fit standard garbage trucks, making it a smart choice for residential needs. If you have a larger family or require extra capacity, consider opting for the 64-gallon version instead to avoid frequent overflows. Overall, this model balances durability, usability, and price well — just be sure to buy from a reputable retailer to avoid seller-related headaches.
