Pros
- •Picture quality is very good with clear, sharp visuals and vibrant colors, providing an immersive experience for TV shows and movies.

- •Lightweight design (around 27 pounds) makes wall mounting and setup easier than expected for such a large TV.
- •Simple and quick setup process including straightforward WiFi connection and easy integration of major streaming apps.
- •Smart Fire TV interface works smoothly and intuitively, with built-in Alexa voice remote adding convenient hands-free control.
- •Bluetooth connectivity performs well with various devices, including noise-cancelling headphones.
- •Durable and reliable brand reputation, with some users preferring Toshiba over more popular brands like LG and Samsung based on longevity.
- •Positive overall user experience hints at a high likelihood of repeat purchases from this series or brand.
Cons
- •Some users experience sound inconsistencies and occasional issues requiring a restart to fix.
- •Soap Opera Effect (motion smoothing) can be difficult to disable due to limited instructions and settings clarity.
- •Low refresh rate of 30Hz results in noticeable pixelation and motion blur, making it unsuitable for gaming or fast-paced content.
- •Android casting feature reportedly does not work well, with devices failing to pair properly.
- •Warranty service is considered ineffective by some, and purchasing extended coverage may not be worthwhile.
- •Built-in spyware concerns have been mentioned, with users needing to seek online instructions to disable any tracking functionality.
- •Picture quality, while good for most, is not exceptional compared to premium models and lacks the high-end polish some buyers expect.
Bottom Line
The Toshiba 85-inch Class C350 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV is a solid choice if you want a large 4K TV with strong picture quality, easy smart features, and a lightweight design that’s simple to set up and mount. It’s excellent for typical TV and movie watching, especially if you value Alexa voice control and the Fire TV ecosystem. However, if you’re a gamer or picky about motion clarity and sound reliability, you might find the low refresh rate and occasional sound issues frustrating. Also, be aware of some potential privacy concerns and lackluster warranty service. Overall, it’s a durable, dependable set that competes well with other budget-friendly 85-inch models but isn’t the absolute top-tier in performance. If gaming or super-smooth motion is a priority, you may want to explore higher refresh rate TVs or models with better sound consistency elsewhere.
