Pros
- •Exceptional suction power (22kPa) lifts dirt instead of just pushing it around, providing a noticeably deeper clean.
- •iLoop Smart Sensor detects dirt levels and adjusts suction and water flow accordingly, optimizing battery use and cleaning efficiency.
- •High-temp steam cleaning heats rapidly to sanitize floors and tackle sticky messes without harsh chemicals.
- •Simultaneously vacuums dry crumbs and liquid spills, eliminating the need for separate vacuuming and mopping.
- •Heated Self-Cleaning Flashdry cycle (up to 185°F) washes and dries the brush roller to prevent odors and simplify maintenance.
- •Long battery life (around 50 minutes) supports cleaning an entire ground floor, even with heavy steam use.
- •Maneuverable 360° SmoothDrive and 180° lay-flat swivel design easily reach under furniture and around obstacles.
- •Anti-tangle design prevents hair and pet fur from wrapping around the brush, reducing upkeep hassles.
- •Intuitive, easy-to-read display with helpful prompts makes operation straightforward for first-time users.
- •Self-propelled feature enhances ease of use, making cleaning smoother and less tiring.
Cons
- •Steam cleaning effect is often seen as more visual than functional; it doesn't reach the floor directly to loosen dirt effectively.
- •Struggles with removing stubborn floor stains—doesn’t perform as well as a dedicated mop or traditional spinner mop in this regard.
- •The unit deposits water and then vacuums it up but may leave behind some minor residues.
- •Requires regular emptying and cleaning of the fresh and dirty water tanks after heavy use, which takes some time.
- •Not recommended for thick carpets; best suited to hard floors like tile, parquet, and linoleum.
- •The machine can feel initially heavy or bulky, requiring some effort to get used to its weight and size.
Bottom Line
If you're looking for an efficient, smart cordless vacuum and wet cleaner combo that saves time by doing both jobs simultaneously, the Tineco Floor One S9 Artist excels on hard floors with powerful suction, smart sensors, and a convenient self-cleaning system. However, if you need a serious steam mop that penetrates deep to loosen stubborn dirt or want great performance on carpets, this might not be the ideal match. For a more dedicated steam cleaning experience or better stain removal on floors, a traditional steam mop or specialized cleaner could complement this device well. Overall, the Floor One S9 Artist is a strong choice for busy households wanting a modern, versatile floor cleaning solution.
