Cons
- •The writing style is less snappy and more detailed than the 1970s versions, which may feel slower or less dynamic to some readers.

Bottom Line
*The Mystery at Lilac Inn* is a highly recommended read for fans of classic Nancy Drew mysteries who appreciate a richly detailed, suspenseful story with strong, smart female leads and a nostalgic 1930s vibe.
