Pros
- •Cats absolutely adore these treats, often reacting enthusiastically to the sound of the container being shaken or the scent itself.
- •The treats are known to be highly appealing even to finicky and picky cats, including older outdoor cats who usually show little interest in other snacks.
- •Many cat owners consider these treats a staple due to their consistent quality, irresistible combination of crunchy and soft textures, and great flavor mix of tuna, shrimp, and salmon.
- •They provide excellent value for the price and can be given frequently without disrupting a cat’s regular diet.
- •The strong scent attracts cats effectively, simplifying the task of calling them indoors or rewarding them during playtime.
- •The large bags (not the tub) tend to seal well and maintain freshness better.
- •Cats often beg for these treats nightly, clearly showing a strong preference and enjoyment.
Cons
- •The tub packaging is prone to lid issues; the lid can pop off easily, and air can enter through slits in the closure, causing treats to go stale more quickly.
- •The packaging durability has declined over time, with the opening mechanism becoming weaker and less secure than in previous versions.
- •Stale treats lose their appeal, and keeping freshness can be a challenge without transferring treats to a different container or using additional sealing measures like plastic wrap.
Bottom Line
Temptations MixUps Crunchy and Soft Cat Treats in Surfer’s Delight flavor are a top pick for cat owners wanting a treat that truly excites even the pickiest of feline friends. The irresistible aromas and textures mean your cat will practically *beg* for these snacks, making them a fantastic reward or motivator. However, the packaging leaves much to be desired—if you want to keep those treats fresh for longer, consider transferring them to an airtight container after opening. This little extra step will preserve the quality and keep your kitty coming back for more.
