Bottom Line
The Tablo 4th Gen 4-Tuner OTA DVR is a strong contender for those looking to cut the cord and avoid costly cable bills, especially if they don't use Apple TV. While it boasts impressive recording capabilities and clear video quality, the lack of an Apple TV app and some app stability issues are significant considerations. If you value excellent streaming quality and flexibility in placement, this device may still suit your needs, but if you're firm on an Apple ecosystem or looking for a fully stable user experience, you might want to explore alternatives like YouTube TV.
