Pros
- •Highly effective at cleaning and attracting dust, especially useful for quick dusting jobs on flat screens.
- •Long handle design makes it easier for shorter individuals to reach high places like fans and cabinet tops.
- •Features a 360° heavy-duty duster that collects dust from all sides, making it suitable for high and low dusting needs, including cobwebs and corners.
- •The long retractable wand with adjustable length and angle is essential for thorough dusting.
- •Ideal for cleaning hard-to-reach spots like tops of door frames, fan blades, and baseboards.
- •Heavy-duty puffy pads absorb dust rather than merely pushing it around.
- •Generic dusters may not perform as well; Swiffer brand wands and cloths offer better durability and functionality.
- •Bendable design allows for easy access to lower shelves and ceiling fans.
- •User satisfaction is high, with improved dusting capabilities noted, especially for those with coordination and balance issues.
Cons
- •Fails to clean effectively for some; not always meeting expectations.
- •Users may find that traditional cleaning methods like a rag and cleaner yield better results.
- •The product was received without a crucial end piece needed to attach the wand to the dusting pad.
- •Installation on the handle is challenging, though functionality is satisfactory once installed.
- •Included dusters are of poor quality and lack sufficient fluff, leading to potential dissatisfaction.
- •Wands may break down over time with heavy use but are generally reliable for home cleaning needs.
- •Previous experiences with similar products were better, suggesting the possibility of higher-quality alternatives.
- •Considering returning due to dissatisfaction with the provided dusters.
Bottom Line
The Swiffer Dusters Heavy Duty Extender Handle Starter Kit is praised for its dust-attracting capabilities, adjustable long handle, and 360° duster feature, making it ideal for cleaning hard-to-reach areas. However, some users are dissatisfied with the duster quality and missing parts. For those who require a reliable dusting solution, but are dissatisfied with this option, checking with customer service for missing parts or considering a traditional cleaning method could be beneficial.
