Pros
- •Holds a collapsible 100-foot hose neatly with extra room for about 50 feet more, offering generous capacity.
- •Sturdy and heavy enough to stay in place during use, although some recommend adding weight for extra stability.
- •Hose hookup through the bottom hole makes it easy to pull the hose out without hassle.
- •Attractive wicker design that blends well with outdoor decor, looking more like a planter than a typical hose reel.
- •Easy to clean with no sticky residue left behind.
- •Durable construction with a pleasing mocha color that enhances curb appeal.
- •Lightweight and easy to move despite its size.
- •More convenient and preferable than traditional wind-up hose holders.
- •Resists rust, maintaining its appearance over time.
- •Installation is straightforward and user-friendly.
Cons
- •Feels too lightweight and potentially less durable for a fully loaded 100-foot standard garden hose, especially metal hoses.
- •The design is bulkier and taller than some users expected, which might affect placement options.
- •The label on the pot doesn't peel off cleanly, leaving some leftover residue that can be annoying to remove.
- •Large capacity can mean a metal 50-foot hose fills only about one-third of the container, maybe making it seem oversized in some cases.
- •Stability could be improved with added weight at the bottom, as it might tip if handled roughly.
Bottom Line
The Suncast HPW100 Mocha Wicker Hose Pot offers a stylish and functional solution for storing a 100-foot collapsible hose, with a design that elevates your outdoor space's look beyond typical hose reels. It’s lightweight and easy to move but could use some extra weight for greater stability, especially if you have a heavier hose. If you want classic wicker aesthetics with good capacity and ease of access, this is a solid pick. However, if you prefer something that feels more rugged or compact, you may want to explore other hose storage options. We think this product works best for those who value appearance and convenience in hose storage without needing ultra-heavy-duty durability.
