- •Extremely durable and abrasion resistant, outperforming many cheaper alternatives.
- •Super thin braided line with a smooth, round profile that enhances casting distance and accuracy.
- •Retains strength better at knots and resists fraying, making it ideal for intense fishing conditions.
- •Proven reliable in saltwater scenarios, handling heavy stress where hooks might fail while line holds strong.
- •Smooth and flexible, especially when treated with line conditioner like Ardent Line Butter, resulting in fewer casting issues.
- •Color is low-visibility green, helping reduce line detection by fish, despite some minor fading over time.
- •Works well with appropriate rigging techniques like leaders and gentle hook-setting to maximize line longevity.
- •Lightweight yet strong, making it suitable for extended use and various fish species including muskie, pike, and salmon.
- •Performs exceptionally well with BFS rod/reel combos and maintains smooth line flow on reels.
- •Can be reversed on the spool to extend overall lifespan, offering good value.
Cons
- •The color does bleed and fade after prolonged use, though it doesn't affect overall performance.
- •Requires careful maintenance of fishing gear (guides and tips) to avoid line damage and casting problems.
- •Occasional wind knots can occur, especially if not properly conditioned or when casting into the wind.
- •Users are advised to use stronger line than typical monofilaments to avoid breakage, which may increase cost.
- •Line strength is best preserved with correct rigging methods; rough handling or aggressive hook sets can lead to snapping.
