Pros

- •Graphics are high-quality and visually impressive, making the gameplay feel immersive and enjoyable on the Nintendo Switch 2.
- •The storyline is compelling and well-developed, offering a satisfying narrative that enhances the overall experience.
- •Gameplay is smooth and tactical, incorporating stealth mechanics and strategic mission approaches reminiscent of popular stealth games like the Batman Arkham series.
- •Includes over 40 hours of content with a mix of open-world exploration, narrative missions, side quests, and character progression.
- •Additional fun features such as playing Sabaac with Lando and exciting dogfighting sequences add variety and depth to the gameplay.
- •Ubisoft executed the concept very well, with many players expressing that the game exceeded their expectations and has potential for a sequel.
- •The game runs great on the Nintendo Switch 2 platform, ensuring solid performance without major technical issues.
Cons
- •The shooting mechanics are described as average and don’t compete with the polish of top-tier shooters like Call of Duty or Battlefield.
- •The inclusion of redeemable codes for downloadable bonuses can be frustrating, especially since these codes may expire and prevent players from accessing the additional content.
- •The code-in-box system is inconvenient; many users would prefer the game to come physically on cartridge rather than relying on code redemption.
Bottom Line
*Star Wars Outlaws - Gold Edition* for Nintendo Switch 2 stands out by delivering a unique stealth-based Star Wars adventure with excellent graphics and a gripping story, making it a must-play for fans seeking something different in the Star Wars gaming universe. While the average shooting mechanics and bonus code system could be better, the game's strong narrative, extensive content, and smooth performance make it well worth considering. If you’re looking for a Star Wars game with tactical gameplay emphasis and an immersive experience on Switch 2, this is a solid choice. If you want to explore alternate Star Wars titles with a different combat style or more traditional Jedi gameplay, keep an eye out for other releases, but for now, this game packs plenty of entertainment and surprises.
