Pros
- •Cleans clothes significantly better and faster than many other washers, completing loads in just 15-20 minutes.
- •Uses more water than high-efficiency washers, which helps with a deeper, more thorough clean.
- •Classic Clean wash action aggressively tackles tough stains with six versatile wash cycles.
- •Built with commercial-quality components, making it very strong, durable, and reliable for long-term use.
- •No Lid Lock feature allows adding forgotten items mid-cycle—a great convenience not all washers offer.
- •Out-of-balance management ensures smooth operation even with tricky loads.
- •Large 3.2 cu. ft. capacity accommodates a variety of laundry loads efficiently.
- •Easy to use with straightforward controls.
Cons
- •Operates much noisier compared to other modern washing machines, which might be disruptive in smaller living spaces.
- •Does not have a lid lock, which some users might view as a safety concern or inconvenience if the lid is accidentally opened.
Bottom Line
The Speed Queen TC5003WN is a powerhouse top load washer designed for those who prioritize spotless, fast laundry with the durability of commercial-grade parts. Its willingness to use more water and aggressive wash action means your clothes come out cleaner, but be prepared for a noisier laundry experience. If you need quiet operation or a lid lock safety feature, you might want to consider other options. Otherwise, this is a robust and efficient machine that gets laundry done quickly without sacrificing cleaning performance.
