Bottom Line
Sonic X Shadow Generations on PS5 delivers a vibrant, fast-paced, and family-friendly Sonic experience that skillfully balances nostalgia with fresh content, especially thanks to the new Shadow gameplay and remastered visuals. It’s an excellent choice for parents seeking engaging, safe gaming for kids and for Sonic fans longing for a solid 3D Sonic adventure that runs smoothly on modern hardware. If you want something with a bit more depth or a radically new Sonic game, you might want to keep an eye out for the latest Sonic titles, but this is a strong option for classic fun that holds up well on PS5.
