Soffe Compression Boxer Briefs
Pros
- •Offers a comfortable, not-too-tight or too-loose fit that works well for daily wear
- •Made from breathable polyester/spandex blend that generally keeps moisture at bay and feels cool
- •Exceptionally soft material that enhances comfort significantly
- •Durable and reliable, holding up well over time even with regular use
- •Designed to stay in place without riding up, which is a big improvement over traditional cotton boxer briefs
- •Suitable for various activities like running, hiking, skiing, and lounging due to flexible fit and compression
- •Many users have reordered multiple pairs and plan to switch fully to this style
- •Provides a slight compression effect that supports without being restrictive
- •Maintains shape after washing and wears well over months or years
- •Ideal length that’s not too long, making it versatile under different types of clothing
Cons
- •The compression effect is minimal, only slightly more than standard boxer briefs, so expect light support rather than firm compression
- •Some users noted the fit differs from older USMC Soffe days versions, which may disappoint those expecting the same style or quality
- •A few reports indicate the fabric doesn't allow for great airflow, potentially causing excessive sweating during intense activity or warmer climates
- •There are occasional mentions of the material sometimes riding up despite most saying it stays put
- •Style and quality may not meet expectations if you’re comparing to previous Soffe models
Bottom Line
The Soffe Mens Compression Boxer Brief is a solid choice if you want soft, breathable, and durable underwear with light compression and a stay-put fit for everyday use and moderate physical activity. However, if you’re seeking stronger compression or super high airflow for intense workouts in hot weather, this might not fully satisfy those needs. For a similar style with potentially better airflow or different fit, you might want to explore other options, but this one is highly reliable and well-liked by many who have switched to it.
