Pros
- •Works well as a reliable replacement for long-lasting earlier models.
- •Utilizes Quick Connect canisters for easy use.
- •Features blue LED lights for an appealing visual effect.
- •Simple setup and easy to use, with a compact design that saves counter space.
- •Produces excellent seltzer quality and encourages increased water intake.
- •Environmentally friendly, reducing waste from canned or bottled beverages.
- •Fun and convenient for making sodas on demand, enhancing daily water consumption habits.
Cons
- •Single refill bottle may not yield the expected 60L of seltzer, especially for extra bubbly preference.
- •Difficulty in aligning and inserting bottles into the Snap-Lock system.
- •The hard, slippery plastic bottom can slip off surfaces; rubber feet are suggested for stability.
- •High-pressure CO2 cylinder requires careful handling and should be kept away from children.
- •Users find canned sodas have a crisper and brighter taste compared to this machine's output.
- •Quick Connect cylinders are incompatible with older Screw-In CO2 canisters, requiring an adapter.
Bottom Line
The SodaStream E-TERRA Sparkling Water Maker is an excellent choice for those looking to replace an older model with a more modern, user-friendly design. It's compact, eco-friendly, and fun to use, making it a great addition for soda enthusiasts wanting to enjoy homemade seltzer while cutting down on bottled beverage waste. Keep in mind, it might require some adjustment if you are transitioning from older cylinder systems. For those sensitive about seltzer taste quality, canned sodas might still offer a crisper alternative.
