Pros
- •Provides comforting heartbeat sound that soothes puppies and helps them sleep through the night, significantly reducing whining and crate anxiety.
- •Large, soft, and cuddly—perfect for puppies to snuggle with and wrestle against.
- •Durable construction withstands sharp puppy teeth, holding up well even after weeks or months of use.
- •Includes a heating pack option that adds extra warmth, making it ideal for colder environments.
- •Velcro securely holds the heartbeat device in place, preventing it from moving around during play or sleep.
- •Machine washable and maintains softness and appearance after multiple washes.
- •Serves as a comforting transitional aid for puppies adjusting to a new home, mimicking the presence of their mother.
- •Loved by dogs and considered a great purchase by many users.
- •Heartbeat feature has a timer to save battery life and is easy to restart manually as needed.
Cons
- •The heartbeat device needs to be manually restarted every 8 hours since the motion sensor to reactivate it doesn’t always work reliably.
- •Best suited for very young puppies; safety concerns arise if given to older dogs who may chew aggressively.
- •Some users mention the interior requires caution when cuddled with, to ensure the puppy’s safety if the toy tears.
- •The heating pack feature is not always necessary and may go unused by some owners.
Bottom Line
The SmartPetLove Snuggle Puppy Behavioral Aid Toy is a must-have for puppy owners looking to ease separation anxiety and promote better sleep through calming heartbeat sounds and warmth. Its durable, soft build and comforting features make it a long-term sleep companion for puppies. Just be prepared to manually restart the heartbeat device every 8 hours and keep an eye on toy wear if your pup is a heavy chewer. For those wanting an extra soothing touch with heat, the included warming pack is a nice bonus. Overall, it’s a charming, effective solution to help puppies settle in confidently. If you need something that automatically reactivates without manual intervention, keep an eye out for future models, but for now this remains a top choice for behavioral aid toys.
