Pros
- •The jam has a great taste, spreading easily with an excellent balance of tangy and sweet flavors.
- •It contains only one gram of sugar, making it a healthier option compared to similar products.
- •Made with natural ingredients, aligning with preferences for healthy eating.
- •Packaged in glass, which is preferred over plastic for food items.
Cons
- •Contains a significant amount of hard seeds (5+ per tablespoon), which affects overall enjoyment.
- •The seed texture detracts from the overall experience, causing discomfort after consumption.
- •Criticism for not clearly labeling the presence of seeds on the packaging; some feel it should be filtered like homemade jams.
Bottom Line
Smucker's Natural Blackberry Fruit Spread is a delicious and healthier option thanks to its low sugar content and natural ingredients. However, the presence of hard seeds might be a dealbreaker for some, so if you're particular about seedless spreads, this might not be the best choice for you. For those who don't mind seeds, this product offers a tasty and nutritious addition to your pantry.
