Cons
- •Newer pumps have noise issues, louder than the water feature itself.
- •Reports of insufficient power, failing to maintain advertised flow rates.
- •Requires re-plumbing due to a smaller water outlet diameter.
- •Experiences with newer models indicate a lower reliability and effectiveness.
- •Warranty and customer support are unsatisfactory, with issues not covered.
- •High cost perceived as unjustified due to its short lifespan of 2.5 years in some cases.
Bottom Line
While the Smartpond Waterfall Pump 2000gph has a history of reliability and effective performance, especially with older models, recent reviews indicate it may fall short in terms of noise control and power output. Consider your requirements carefully, as newer units may not live up to past expectations. Ensure to register for the warranty to guard against potential issues.
