Pros
- •Each roll contains 1,000 sheets, which means fewer roll changes and great value for both families and office stock.
- •1-ply construction dissolves quickly, making it ideal for septic systems, older plumbing, and low-flow toilets.
- •Durable and strong despite being single-ply; it holds up well without falling apart or leaving residue.
- •Environmentally conscious, made from sustainably sourced, 100% biodegradable materials that reduce the need for harsh chemicals.
- •Large 32-roll pack is perfect for stocking up, minimizing shopping trips and ensuring a steady supply.
- •Absorbs well and maintains functionality for a straightforward, reliable clean.
- •Budget-friendly for the amount of product delivered and septic-safe design prevents clogs and plumbing issues.
- •Compact packaging fits easily in standard toilet paper holders and storage spaces.
Cons
- •The 1-ply tissue is noticeably thinner and less soft compared to 2-ply or thicker alternatives, leaving some users wanting more comfort.
- •Some find it rough or too thin, requiring more sheets per use, which can offset the benefit of the long roll.
- •A few users feel it has a cheap or less luxurious feel, especially if they prefer softer or cushier toilet paper.
- •Perception of cost varies; some consider it expensive depending on pricing and availability.
- •Not favored by those used to plush, multi-ply toilet papers who prioritize softness over longevity.
Bottom Line
Scott 1000 Trusted Clean Toilet Paper is a no-nonsense champion for anyone who values long-lasting rolls that are septic-safe and eco-friendly. It’s a smart pick if you want to reduce roll changes and avoid plumbing headaches, but if plush softness or thickness is high on your list, this might not be your dream paper. For those craving a softer feel without sacrificing septic safety, _Scott ComfortPlus_ is worth checking out as a more cushioned alternative.
