Pros
- •Very spacious with ample storage capacity, especially for a side-by-side design
- •Notably large freezer capable of holding contents from a small chest freezer
- •Works better than some previous models, like LG, with fewer issues during initial use
- •The interior layout provides more space compared to older or similar models
- •Delivery was quicker than expected, and the seller offered good service
- •The company representative provided helpful instructions before delivery
- •Overall quality and performance were appreciated during the first couple of weeks
Cons
- •Stopped working after two weeks due to a bad compressor
- •Repair is complicated since it’s a newer model with unclear procedures
- •Customer service was time-consuming and unhelpful when issues arose
- •Not reliable long-term; the unit failed with no clear path to repair or replacement
- •Some items tend to freeze in the back of the refrigerator
- •Ice maker sometimes struggles to detect when to start or stop, leading to excess ice and even ice falling onto the floor
Bottom Line
While the Samsung RS27T5200SR offers impressive storage capacity and initial performance, its reliability is questionable based on user reviews. If you're looking for a spacious side-by-side with good features, it might be worth the risk—just be prepared for potential repair headaches. If long-term reliability is your top priority, consider other brands or models with a stronger reputation for durability.
