- •Remote control is non-backlit, making it difficult to use in dark environments.

Bottom Line
The Samsung 70-Inch Class Crystal UHD U8000F 4K Smart TV (2025 Model) is an excellent choice if you want a vibrant, sharp 4K display coupled with a fast and responsive smart interface packed with features like Alexa and Knox Security. Its relatively lightweight build and good sound quality mean you get great value without hunting for extra accessories—although a soundbar is recommended for the true home theater experience. However, if you’re not thrilled about mandatory app-based setup or want a more open or flexible smart TV platform, you might want to explore alternatives like Roku or Android TV models for more customization freedom. Overall, this TV stands out as a solid pick for 4K UHD picture quality and smart features in a big-screen format that won’t break the bank.
