- •Quantum HDR technology significantly enhances contrast, making both dark and bright scenes pop with sharpness and clarity.
- •The Q4 AI Gen1 Processor enables advanced 4K upscaling and smart features powered by Samsung Vision AI for an improved viewing and audio experience.
- •The TV is slim and lightweight compared to older models, making it easier to install and fit into various living spaces.
- •It connects easily via Bluetooth and pairs seamlessly with streaming devices like Apple TV.
- •Plenty of built-in streaming apps allow for direct content access without needing external devices.
- •Setup and installation are simple and quick, especially when integrated with Samsung SmartThings and compatible smartphones like Galaxy S23 Ultra.
- •Alexa voice control is built-in, adding convenience for smart home integration and hands-free operation.
- •The Gaming Hub adds value for gamers by offering dedicated game content and features.
Cons
- •The built-in sound quality is underwhelming and tends to feel poor or thin, often prompting users to invest in an external soundbar for a satisfactory audio experience.
- •The TV’s interface and menus can be slow and laggy, with noticeable delays navigating apps and settings.
- •The remote control is small and lacks several useful features, such as a quick access "Source" button or a clock/alarm, reducing convenience.
- •Some users have reported an odd color inversion issue when switching inputs, such as after disconnecting a PS5 and then using other sources.
- •Compared to some other premium models, the audio and system responsiveness fall short, which might disappoint users expecting flagship-level performance.
Bottom Line
The Samsung 55-Inch QLED Q7F (2025 model) is a visually stunning 4K smart TV with premium picture quality, excellent color accuracy, and solid smart features at a competitive price. However, it compromises on sound performance and speed, so if you crave deep audio or buttery-smooth navigation, pairing it with a soundbar and preparing for occasional lag might be necessary. If rich audio and ultra-fast responsiveness are deal-breakers, considering other models or higher-tier Samsung QLEDs could pay off. For those prioritizing picture quality and smart functionality in a sleek, modern package, this TV hits a strong balance.
