- •Brightness and color dynamism can be finely controlled through multiple settings to suit different lighting environments.
- •Overall picture quality is excellent, making it a worthy upgrade for those seeking a striking 4K UHD viewing experience.
- •The TV syncs seamlessly with soundbars, delivering clear and high-quality sound output.
- •Setup is easy and straightforward, with a lightweight design that simplifies initial handling.
- •The remote is slim and convenient, featuring quick access buttons for popular streaming services like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
- •The smart TV offers a wide range of channels and streaming options, with built-in apps providing endless free content.
- •The AirSlim design gives the TV a sleek, modern look that fits well in most living spaces.
- •Samsung Vision AI and Alexa built-in add smart functionality and voice control options that enhance everyday use.
- •Many users find the TV reliable and would consider the same model for future purchases.
Cons
- •The remote control can be overly sensitive or "wonky," causing channel or menu changes with minimal contact, which can be frustrating.
- •Multiple remotes (Samsung remote plus streaming device remotes) don’t always work well together, complicating control.
- •The remote's small print and compact size make it easy to lose and potentially uncomfortable for some users.
- •The TV’s menu and interface system can be challenging or confusing to navigate, especially for users upgrading from older models.
- •Some found the included legs unstable and not very reliable, raising concerns about safe TV placement without wall mounting.
- •Wall mounting is a solution but often avoided due to worries about the TV’s weight and stability.
- •Built-in features and numerous apps often go unused by typical users, which might make the smart functionality feel overwhelming or unnecessary for some.
- •Reliance on AI chat for online support instead of human assistance can hinder problem resolution.
- •Limited free ad-supported channels and movies are available, though many users find this offering underwhelming.
- •The smartphone remote app is available but less convenient compared to the physical remote.
Bottom Line
The SAMSUNG 43-Inch Class QLED Q8F delivers stunning 4K UHD picture quality with rich colors, bright output, and excellent viewing angles, making it a fantastic choice for those wanting a crisp, vibrant TV experience with smart features baked in. However, the overly sensitive remote and a somewhat confusing interface may annoy less tech-savvy users, and the stability of the included stand raises some safety concerns if you don’t plan to wall-mount. If you want a similar premium display but prefer a more straightforward remote experience or sturdier stand options, you might want to explore other Samsung QLED models or comparable smart TVs with more stable hardware design and simplified controls.
