- •MetalStream design offers a sleek, modern aesthetic with sturdy feet for stable placement without mandatory wall mounting.
- •Alexa built-in and Knox Security provide smart, voice-enabled controls and enhanced privacy protection.
- •Includes three HDMI ports, including an eARC-enabled port for advanced audio setups.

- •Can disable Samsung's default ad and tracking features, though it takes some time to fully turn off.
- •Good integration with smart home systems like Home Assistant, facilitating basic TV functions through automation.
Cons
- •Setup requires the Samsung SmartThings app with multiple steps and updates, which can be frustrating for less tech-savvy users.
- •Disabling ads and tracking can take up to two weeks, which might be annoying for privacy-conscious users.
- •USB port power output is limited and only works when the TV is powered on.

- •Compared to Android TV or Roku, it lacks some open-source flexibility and more extensive app ecosystem.
- •May require re-adding to Home Assistant or smart home integrations after software updates, disrupting automation.
- •Remote control uses AAA batteries, which some users find less convenient than AA.
- •Some users find initial setup unnecessarily complicated, considering the included remote control.
- •The TV might not support some niche apps like Jellyfin out of the box.
Bottom Line
The SAMSUNG 43-Inch Class Crystal UHD U8000F 4K Smart TV is a fantastic choice if you want impressive picture quality, strong built-in audio, and smart features like Alexa and Knox Security packed into a stylish design. Just be ready for a somewhat lengthy and app-dependent setup process if you’re not already in the Samsung ecosystem. If you prioritize an open-source smart TV platform or want a simpler initial setup, you might also consider alternatives with Android TV or Roku systems, but for excellent value and reliable performance, this model stands out.
