- •The suitcase offers ample storage capacity, accommodating items for an 11-day trip with room to spare.
- •Lightweight and easy to maneuver on smooth, flat surfaces like airports.
- •The expander feature provides additional packing capacity, which is great for longer trips.
Cons
- •Lock instructions are confusing, lacking textual guidance, which complicates setting the combination.
- •Durability issues reported after one flight, with scuffs, scratches, and a deep gash on the handle.
- •Misleading size specifications, leading to confusion about whether it's suitable as a carry-on or checked bag.
- •Warranty process is cumbersome and unsatisfactory, with limited repair options and additional costs.
- •Plastic pop-up handle raises concerns about durability and struggles with bumpy terrain.
- •Many users express disappointment in quality, with bags looking wear after minimal use.
Bottom Line
While the Samsonite Freeform Hardside Suitcase boasts an attractive design and generous storage, it falls short in terms of durability and user satisfaction. Issues with misleading size specifications and unexpected wear after limited use are significant drawbacks. If you're considering this purchase, it might be best to wait for a discount or explore other brands known for sturdier travel gear.
