- •The design is appealing, with a spacious and collapsible structure, great for storage in tight quarters.
- •Lightweight and initially well-designed, making it ideal for situations with strict luggage size and weight limits.
Cons
- •The material feels cheap and lacks durability, with multiple reports of weak construction.
- •Developed holes, especially around the wheels, after minimal use, highlighting poor build quality.
- •The handle's placement and design make the bag prone to tipping and potential tearing.
- •Limited interior space and poorly functioning top zipper compartment make it impractical for travel.
- •Experienced frequent damage, including missing zipper pulls and issues with retractable handlebars.
- •The bag is unsuitable for rugged environments like airports or cobblestone streets.
- •Warranty and customer service received poor reviews, complicating the return process.
- •General dissatisfaction with the quality compared to other Samsonite products.
Bottom Line
The Samsonite Andante 2 Wheeled Rolling Duffel Bag in 28-Inch is lightweight with a practical, collapsible design, but it falls short in durability and functionality. The bag tends to develop holes and other wear and tear issues quickly, especially with regular travel. It may not hold up against the rigors of air travel or rough surfaces, and the warranty offers limited protection against common damages. If durability and robust design are top priorities, you might want to consider alternative options.
