Used & Refurbished

- •Powerful suction rivals many standard corded shop-vacs, easily handling light debris like sawdust, dirt, and small particles.
- •Cordless design offers fantastic freedom and maneuverability, making it perfect for large workspaces without worrying about cords.
- •Lightweight with smooth-rolling wheels and a convenient handle, making it easy to transport and empty the 6-gallon tank.
- •Battery life is decent with a 4Ah battery (~15-20 minutes) and significantly extended with an optional 9Ah battery (~45 minutes), improving overall usability.
- •Highly praised for simplifying cleanup in workshops, garages, and vehicle interiors, especially effective for pet hair and car seats.
- •Attachments and hose included help with versatile cleaning tasks; the floor nozzle performs better in tight spaces than the crevice tool.
- •Compatible with Dewalt 20V batteries through an adapter, adding flexibility for users who have those batteries.
- •Good value for a cordless wet/dry vac in terms of portability and suction power for general-purpose cleaning.
Cons
- •No HEPA filtration, so fine dust may escape—best suited for workshop or garage use, not ideal where fine particle control is required.
- •Uses an uncommon 1 3/4 inch hose size, which limits compatibility with many standard vacuum accessories and attachments.
- •Lacks specific car cleaning attachments, which could limit convenience for vehicle detailing beyond basic tasks.
- •Some durability concerns reported, including motor wiring issues causing the vac to stop working after a few uses for certain buyers.
- •High battery consumption means practical long-term use generally demands a high-capacity 9Ah battery, which is sold separately and adds to the cost.
- •No plug-in power option, removing the possibility of unlimited runtime via direct charging or constant use.
- •Occasional reliability issues reported, particularly around wiring and motor longevity, which may frustrate users expecting heavy-duty or continuous use.
Bottom Line
The Ryobi 18-Volt ONE+ 6 Gal. Cordless Wet/Dry Vacuum is a convenient and highly portable cleaning tool with impressive cordless suction and great for quick, general cleanup jobs in workshops, garages, and cars. However, if you're looking for longer runtime or finer dust filtration, you’ll likely want to invest in the larger 9Ah battery or consider a corded wet/dry vac. Its uncommon hose size and lack of specialized vehicle attachments may limit versatility for some users. If durability is a big concern, be aware that some users have experienced motor or wiring failures early on. Overall, it’s a solid choice for cordless freedom in light to medium-duty cleanup but not the best pick for heavy-duty or highly specialized tasks.
