- •Includes EPS and DHA to support healthy skin and a beautiful coat.

Cons
- •The first ingredient is not meat; it includes brewers rice, corn, and chicken by-products, which may concern some pet owners.
- •Contains chicken by-product meal rather than real meat, which may include less desirable parts of the animal.
- •Not recommended as the sole nutrition source; should be part of a balanced diet with real food.

- •Caused constipation in one of two Maltese poodles.
Bottom Line
Royal Canin X-Small Adult Dry Dog Food provides an excellent option for very small dogs both in kibble size and nutritional support, especially for those with high energy needs. Despite some concerns about the quality of meat ingredients and the quantity of additives, many pet owners have found it beneficial, particularly when transitioning from grain-free diets that posed health risks. Overall, it's a well-received product for maintaining a happy, energetic small dog.
