Pros
- •Exceptional 4K picture quality with bright, vibrant colors and sharp, true-to-life detail that easily outperforms older 720p and 1080i TVs.
- •Built-in Roku OS offers a seamless, intuitive, and user-friendly streaming experience with easy navigation and straightforward app installation.
- •Enhanced Voice Remote improves usability by controlling both TV functions and streaming apps without juggling multiple remotes.
- •Good built-in sound quality that stands out well enough to forgo an additional soundbar in many cases.
- •Reliable and well-built hardware, likely manufactured by TCL, known for solid longevity and consistent performance.
- •Smooth streaming experience with adequate internet bandwidth, making binge-watching your favorite shows hassle-free.
- •Multiple connection options including 3 HDMI ports, optical out, Ethernet, coax, and even a USB-C port for live TV recording storage.
- •Large 65-inch screen size offers an immersive home theater experience, perfect for movies, sports, and family entertainment.
- •Easy setup process right out of the box, making it accessible even for less tech-savvy users.
Cons
- •The 65-inch size can be a little unwieldy and may not fit on smaller TV stands or confined spaces, so placement planning is essential.
- •While picture quality is great, it is not on the level of higher-end TVs featuring Mini-LED or OLED technology, which offer deeper blacks and more contrast.
- •Energy consumption is around 150 watts, which is average but notable if you’re concerned about power usage.
- •Audio, though good, might still fall short for audiophiles or those with a dedicated home theater system.
Bottom Line
The Roku Smart TV 2025 – 65-Inch Select Series delivers a compelling package of crisp 4K HDR visuals, user-friendly Roku OS, and a slick enhanced voice remote, all wrapped in a reliable, well-constructed design. It’s an excellent value for anyone wanting immersive large-screen entertainment without breaking the bank or fussing with complicated setups. Just make sure you have the space for it and don’t expect OLED-level picture quality. If you’re after a similar smart TV but want to explore other options with possibly more advanced display tech or sound, we can help you find those too!
