Pros
- •Exceptional cleaning performance on both hard floors and rugs with strong 12,000Pa suction power and effective brush design that handles heavy pet hair without tangling.
- •Advanced FlexiArm edge mopping and dual zero-tangle system automatically lift the mop head to avoid wetting carpets and stubborn rugs.
- •Smart obstacle avoidance prevents the vacuum from getting stuck or lost, while mapping capabilities are intuitive and reliable, producing accurate, logical cleaning paths.
- •Convenient self-emptying and self-refilling dock reduces maintenance effort, especially useful for pet owners dealing with large amounts of hair.
- •Auto mop washing and drying keep the mop clean without manual intervention, enhancing the usability of the mopping function.
- •User-friendly app allows easy map management, scheduling, and monitoring of the cleaning process, with support for up to four stored maps.
- •Long-lasting battery life supports extended cleaning sessions without issue.
- •Using Roborock’s brand-specific liquid cleaner improves floor cleanliness and eliminates unpleasant odors.
- •Simple maintenance involving only occasional sensor cleaning and replacing mop heads and dust bags, which are replaceable and can also work with third-party options.
- •Overall reliable and low-maintenance even after months of rigorous daily use, with many users expressing strong satisfaction.
Cons
- •Requires house preparation before cleaning, such as removing cords, towels, and shoes, to optimize performance.
- •The base station location should be finalized before initial mapping to avoid losing or confusing map data.
- •Some issues with detecting low barriers (like low mirrors) can cause inaccurate map zones unless those objects are covered during mapping.
- •Original replacement parts, especially mop heads and cleaning solution, may be hard to find locally, possibly forcing reliance on non-original alternatives.
- •Customer service is limited to email support, which can be slow to respond.
- •The liquid floor cleaner is not widely available in all local sales channels, which may inconvenience some users.
- •While highly effective on rugs and floors, mop heads do wear down over time and require replacement to maintain peak performance.
