Pros
- •Exceptional suction power at 22,000Pa effectively picks up pet hair, crumbs, dust, and stubborn dirt on hardwood, tile, and carpet floors.
- •Ultra-slim 3.14’’ design with Reactive AI obstacle recognition and dual anti-tangle system ensures smooth navigation around furniture and complex shapes without frequently getting stuck.
- •Auto lifting mop feature detects carpets and lifts accordingly, preventing wet carpets while maintaining impressive mopping performance on polished floors with minimal streaking.
- •Advanced mapping technology efficiently covers large and multi-level homes with reliable obstacle navigation and the ability to create no-go zones on the fly without resetting maps.
- •Auto hot water mop washing and drying system with convenient alerts for water refills and maintenance significantly reduces manual mop care efforts.
- •App is highly intuitive, allowing easy scheduling, room selection for cleaning, and instant adjustment of vacuum and mop settings during operation. Compatible with voice assistants like Alexa.
- •Quiet operation and low noise level make it suitable for regular household use without disturbance.
- •Powerful AdaptiLift chassis allows smooth floor transitions and prevents the vacuum from sticking on low obstacles like chair legs or cords.
- •Reliable dustbin auto-emptying combined with mop pad washing and drying reduces user workload in maintenance.
- •Helps reduce odors and create a fresher home environment, especially with regular scheduled cleaning.
Cons
- •Battery life may require multiple charges daily in larger homes, which can interrupt cleaning cycles and be inconvenient.
- •Room cleaning order customization is limited, offering less control over the timing in sensitive areas of the home.
- •Occasionally mistakes dark floor spots for obstacles, requiring manual corrections via the app to optimize navigation.
- •Does not detect dog waste, which can be a concern for pet owners.
- •Struggles with tangled charging cords if they are left out, which can interfere with cleaning.
- •Initial reliability concerns reported by some users, including overheating and units failing after only a few weeks, although these appear to be isolated cases.
- •Requires regular maintenance such as emptying dirty water, cleaning the container, and avoiding cleaning additives to prevent odors in the mop system.
- •Stubborn stains are not fully removed by the mop function, so manual spot cleaning may still be necessary.
- •Manual vacuuming still needed for stairs, but some users suggest creative workarounds to handle debris on staircases.
Bottom Line
The **roborock Qrevo CurvX** is a top-tier robot vacuum and mop combo packed with powerful suction, intelligent navigation, and smart mop maintenance, making it a strong choice for those seeking a mostly hands-off, fresh home cleaning solution. Its ultra-slim design and advanced AI allow it to clean with agility while minimizing pet hair and dust hassle, especially in large and multi-level homes. However, users needing custom cleaning order control or those with very stubborn stains may find its mop function limited, and a few reliability quirks have been reported, so regular maintenance is key. If you’re concerned about pet waste detection or prefer more customizable cleaning schedules, you might want to explore other models that cater specifically to these needs, but for powerful all-round cleaning with smart mop care, the Qrevo CurvX is certainly a contender to consider.
